Glossary: How to stop my paintings hanging crookedly

I am an inveterate straightener of paintings. I just cannot help myself when I walk into a room and see paintings hanging this way and that, I have to adjust them, knowing full well that by the next day they will be at a jaunty angle once more.

Well here's the answer and very simple it is to. All you need is two picture hooks rather than one. Measure the distance between the hook eyes on the reverse of the picture and nail the two hooks into the wall at a distance slightly less than your first measurement. You also don't need to worry if your hooks are level as the picture will still hang straight and true. This is not guaranteed earthquake proof but almost.

At Room4art.com™ we like to help you enjoy your art and even small things had to the whole experience.
