Glossary: DadaFounded in 1916 by Hugo Ball in Zurich, Dada was a movement, a loose grouping of individuals with the same aim. That aim was to destroy traditional values and create a new world order. Dada grew out of the horrors of the first world war becoming an international movement that formed the basis of surrealism. It's principal exponents were Duchamp, Man Ray and Jean Arp |
