This drawing to me sums up all the misery of a bus tour! You are trapped on this bus for days on end visiting sites for a few minutes. And I'm sure as this was painted in the early 60's "No toilets on board"!

This wash drawing was executed while Neville was visiting Australia.

Neville Bertram was a sculptor and painter who was trained in Liverpool by the eminent sculptor/artist Tyson Smith. He exhibited at the R.A. etc and his work is in collections around the world. He produced a series of woodblock prints in the 1950's.
