Looking at the hills beyond a small town down the unmade street where a dog sleeps in the noon sun
This painting while executed in pencil manages to convey the feeling of heat in a quiet Lincolnshire village. The dog sleeps and the rest of the street is deserted. Notice the extensive hatching on the sides of the buildings to indicate shadowing. A fine drawing capturing mood and tranquillity.
Painted on a tour of Lincolnshire.
