A track runs into a farm yard alongside a haystack with its ladder and farm buildings A fine pencil sketch of a farm executed from nature on a summers day in 1926. This sketch like many by Edward Brannan shows the artist consummate skill in handling the medium of pencil. A few quick lines give a wonderful impression and capture the scene at a moment in time.
