A monotype of a group of mothers and children leaving school A lovely monotype in sepia tones. The mothers are pushing those huge perambulators, one of which I occupied myself. Notice the fine wrought iron railings, a rarity in those days as they had often been removed during the war for munitions.

| About the artist
Born: 1926
Died: 1994
Peter Brannan was trained at the Leicester school of art and went on to become an exiting innovative figure painter. He was a member of the Royal Society of British artists and the Lincolnshire society of artists. A retrospective of his work was held at the Goldmark Gallery. He was a regular contributor to magazines of articles on fellow artists. A well loved man but very private.
