Blue and green forms over white
An exercise in the relationship of colour and form, with the sea and the sky as the dominant factors. The shapes form a pleasing and emotional interaction that conveys the artist's inner thoughts.
This lovely small abstract was inspired by St Ives in Cornwall. The harbour and light in St Ives have always inspired Frank and this work pays testimony to his understanding of the place and its history in the development of Modern British art.
