Tower bridge the Pool of London and assorted Thames barges ships and cranes
Excellent lithograph that looks like a pencil drawing- which is exactly how the artist intended the work to look. The soft character of the process gives an atmospheric feel that is very appealing yet retains the detail of the picture.
Purchased in 1975 by Mr and Mrs J Taylor. The work was one of a series of Lithographs under the general heading of London. A copy of the series is in the Victoria and Albert Museum and the British Museum. They were published by J W Bromhead Ltd.
