| About the artist
Born: 1888
Died: 1964
Brannan was a wonderful draughtsman who sketched his native Lincolnshire. He studied at the Lincoln School of art and was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy. His work is in the Usher Gallery in Lincoln and many private collections. His two sons Noel, and Peter were both professional painters.
